Duties and Responsibilities
The New York City Department of Education is seeking highly motivated transportation specialists to serve as yellow bus routers within the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT). Selected candidates will use geographic information systems to place New York City students on the safest, most efficient routes and buses possible.  Selected candidates will also solve routing problems with the supervisory staff within OPT.

Minimum Selection Criteria
Candidates should be articulate, possess routing and/or transportation experience, think analytically and demonstrate familiarity with the NYC geographical area. The salary for the position will be based on the qualification of candidates selected. The salary range of the positions is $28,206–$55,943
