National School lunch Program

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federal program that could save your family more than $250 per year for each of your children while providing your child with nutritious and delicious meals. The program provides free and reduced-price school lunches to those whose household income is within certain guidelines.

Nutritional Standards

In an effort to combat the spread of childhood obesity and the serious diseases associated with it such as diabetes, SchoolFood reinforces nutritional standards and policies. Our breakfast and lunch menu items do not contain any of these ingredients.

  • BHA, BHT, MSG, Sodium Nitrate, or Potassium Bromate
  • Artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners
  • Palm oil or coconut oil
  • Trans Fats
Food Safety

SchoolFood staff are trained in the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP); the most current preventive approach to food safety.
