SchoolFood presently provides food service to After School and Saturday Programs in participating schools when authorized by the Principal. |
| Schools can now apply for After School and Saturday meals using the new Special Programs Online Application System. Principals will be able to log in to the new online application system using the same user name and password to access OPT. |

| The cost of the snack or supper may be partially or completely reimbursable for students who are eligible and have copies of their School Meals Application on file. No part of the food cost may be billed to the child, guardian or parent. This is a non -pricing program. The balance of any cost, not covered by reimbursement, will be charged to the district, school or sponsor. |

Snacks and Suppers may be requested for students up to the age of eighteen. In schools where 50% or more of the total population is eligible for free, and/or reduces-price meals, students enrolled in After School Hours Programs may receive a free snack or supper regardless of their individual eligibility status. Snack counts are recorded on the weekly Report of Meals Served (MIE-1) and Supper counts on the monthly Report of Suppers Served (MIE-4). |

Snack meals consist of two food components and Supper meals consist of five components. Each participant must take all items so that SchoolFood can receive proper reimbursements for the program. The monthly menu provides considerable variety which is available on our website. |

Saturday meals may be requested for students enrolled in an academic instructional program. Elementary and Junior High Schools are eligible for breakfast and or lunch and must be recorded by eligibility on the Report of Meals Served (MIE-1). High Schools are eligible for a snack and/or lunch and must be claimed as follows: At-Risk—Meals claimed as Free on the total line under Saturday; Not At-Risk—Meals claimed by eligibility: Free, Reduced and Paid under Saturday.
