  • How far in advance do I need to make my request?
    Catering requests must be made at least 8 days in advance.

  • What hours are your catering services available?
    Our services are available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • What should I do if I need to make a change to my request?
    An increase or decrease in attendance or a cancellation will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the event. All correspondence should be e-mailed to: rrivera27@schools.nyc.gov and mhutter@schools.nyc.gov. In the event of a last-minute cancellation, a 25% fee may be applied.

  • Will SchoolFood staff remain onsite for my entire event?
    Staff is provided for setup and breakdown. There is an additional charge for service staff to stay for the duration of your event. Due to scheduling costs, any event starting after the pre-planned time may require an additional charge. Events scheduled after our normal work hours and on non-school days may also require an additional charge.

  • What if my service time is delayed?
    The quality of food will be at its best when served at the scheduled time. In the event of a delay, please contact us at: (718) 707-4350/51/54.

  • Are serving utensils and condiments included?
    Catering orders include all necessary supplies and condiments. If serving utensils and/or equipment used for the catered event are not returned at pick-up, a charge for missing items will be applied to the bill.
