SchoolFood is committed to promoting healthy food choices among our students and takes pride in being able to exceed basic USDA regulations governing the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs. We are a participating agency on the NYC Food Policy Task Force and adhere to guidelines for purchased foods, meals and snacks. Through public and private partnerships we were successful in increasing salad bar service in elementary, junior high and high schools; healthy snacks and water consumption. |
