In September the New York City Department of Education Division of School Facilities Chief Executive Officer John Shea spoke at the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) virtual conference on Building Energy NYC. This conference was a fantastic opportunity to learn and share about NYC sustainability goals and the many ways various industries (design, utilities, manufacturers) are working to develop solutions that can help build a better future. He was a highlighted speaker and spoke about strategies for rebuilding New York’s schools, specifically revolving around HVAC systems in our schools.
